A more flexible stock rule

A few details help explain this feature. Relaxed Spider on xyuchain.com permits stock deals while columns are empty. The objective remains eight complete same-suit King-to-Ace runs. The game still uses 104 cards in ten columns. Choose one suit, two suits or four suits using the game controls.

The relaxed difference

A stock card dealt to an empty column becomes that column's first face-up card. The relaxed stock rule does not change the rank requirement for ordinary moves. The relaxed stock rule does not allow mixed-suit groups to move together. An empty column no longer prevents a stock deal in this variant.

Read the opening

A few details help explain this feature. The first four columns have six cards each and the remaining six have five. The stock contains fifty cards for five later deals. The opening tableau contains 54 cards. Only the bottom card of each opening column is face up.

Move a single card

The following details apply here. An exposed card may land on another exposed card exactly one rank higher. An Ace cannot receive a lower-ranked card. A King needs an empty destination because no rank is higher. The two cards do not need to share a suit for a single-card placement.

Follow one suit

The following details apply here. A suit change can leave a smaller movable group at the bottom of a column. A break in rank prevents the entire selected group from moving together. Same-suit building can reduce the work needed to separate mixed sequences later. A descending group moves as a unit only when every selected card shares a suit.

Use empty columns thoughtfully

The following details apply here. A new stock row fills every empty column with one card. Empty columns remain useful for separating temporary mixed builds. Any exposed card or legal same-suit group can occupy an empty column. You may preserve an empty column until you decide to deal from the stock.

Bring in another row

Keep these points in mind. A stock deal places one card onto each of the ten columns. Dealing can block an existing sequence as well as reveal new combinations. You cannot direct an individual stock card to a chosen destination. Undo restores the previous arrangement when the stock-deal snapshot is available.

Collect matching runs

The following details apply here. The game removes a complete run automatically at the bottom of a column. Eight collected runs are required to finish Relaxed Spider. Changing the number of suits does not change the number of required runs. A complete run contains thirteen face-up cards in one suit from King to Ace.

Try another decision

Here are the details for this mode. Hints identify legal options without guaranteeing a win. Random relaxed deals are not presented as guaranteed solvable. Replay restores the same shuffle for another attempt. New game creates a fresh shuffle in the selected suit setting.

Separate variant progress

Here are the details for this mode. Relaxed Spider keeps its saved games separate from standard Spider when saving is enabled. My Statistics displays relaxed starts and wins in separate rows. Each relaxed suit setting has its own current local game. Privacy & Cookie Settings lets you turn saving off or clear local records.
